Dear Visitor,

Welcome to the official Website of the Embassy of the Republic of Mauritius to People’s Republic of China in Beijing

Mauritius achieved independence on 12 March 1968 and became a Republic within the British Commonwealth on 12 March 1992.

Ever since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mauritius and China in 1972, the two countries have witnessed extensive and fruitful cooperation in the fields of politics, economy, culture, education and health. This has brought great benefits to the people of Mauritius and China.

This website seeks to provide information about:

Mauritius' bilateral engagement with the Government of the People Republic of China and the Government of the Republic of Korea;

Consular services to Mauritian nationals residing in China and Republic of Korea and to Chinese and Korean nationals as well as other nationals residing in China and the Republic of Korea.

Furthermore, this website provides useful links to e-services relating to administrative and consular requirements in Mauritius.

We thank you for visiting the website.

H.E. Mr. Lee Hon Chong
