Consular Services

The Mauritius High Commission in Islamabad offers general consular services to the public - including the issuance of visas for Mauritius, the processing of applications for Mauritius passports/travel documents, providing assistance to Mauritian students in general as well as for the extension of their student visas, and providing consular advice/assistance to Mauritian nationals in Pakistan.

Visa for Mauritius

The documents required for the processing of a visa application are:

(i) Duly filled-in and signed Visa Application Form which can be downloaded from the website http://passport.govmu.org;

(ii) Passport bearing holder's signature or thumb impression (valid five months beyond the intended period of stay);

(iii) Two passport-size photographs (coloured with light background);

(iv) Copy of National Identity Card;

(v) Confirmed returned tickets (with e-ticket number);

(vi) Confirmed hotel reservation to be received on mauripak@dsl.net.pk directly from a hotel. The hotel should hold a license from the Trourism Authority; or the original invitation /sponsorship letter from the Mauritian host, together with a copy of the latter's National Identity Card duly, both duly attested by the local police station in Mauritiusnas well as a month old utility bill in the sponsor's name.

(vii) Bank statement for the last six months in favor of the applicant showing the availability of sufficient funds to meet the costs of stay in Mauritius, accompanied by an account maintenance letter." ; and,

(viii) A demand draft amounting to PKR 1,400, drawn in the name of the Mauritius High Commission, Islamabad and payable in Islamabad, for visas to be issued as from 1 September 2019.

(ix) The visa application will not be considered if an applicant does not submit the required/missing documents within three working days and his passport will be returned to him after this period.
